I’m happy that it is September. We enjoyed summer, but it is great to get back into a routine and schedule. It makes me feel more organized somehow. I’m getting back into the swing of meal planning, and pancakes definitely make it on the schedule.
My oldest daughter started high school this week. Time flies when you are having fun! She loves it and we are very excited for her. Even if it means we are all getting up so much earlier each day. Since now both Greg, who is a high school teacher, and she are out of the house before 7 I am trying my best to keep up. And I’ve started dragging the siblings out of bed at not quite the same time, but still pretty early. No reason not to start the homeschool day early too.
We’ve been pretty productive…for all of 4 days 😉
These pancakes are so easy and perfect for the cool weather. Although I don’t stop using cinnamon in the summer, it certainly seems more appropriate in the fall and winter. I love putting it in everything like espresso cinnamon cookies or cinnamon honey butter popcorn, and now pancakes.
If you want to try these this weekend, head on over to Tastes of Lizzy T’s for the full recipe!
