Back when I posted the cashew date balls, I mentioned I had been experimenting with many variations of this new treat. My favorite was always something with almonds likely because they are my favorite kind of nut. They are also pretty inexpensive and full of vitamin e, magnesium, potassium and healthy fats. Well a few family members are not big almond fans, so I knew I had to create something that would impress the non almond folks.
Chocolate to the rescue! Just a tablespoon of cocoa powder transformed this into a quick and easy snack everyone loved!
